Plany – Terms & Conditions
Version 1.4.0
Last updated: August 25, 2026
Welcome to Plany ("Plany", "we", "our", or "us"), operated by Anytech General Trading LLC ("Anytech"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Plany mobile application, web application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using Plany, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. About Plany
Plany is a calendar-first travel planning and organization platform that helps users plan trips, organize itineraries, discover ideas, and manage travel-related information using intelligent features, including AI-powered assistance.
2. Eligibility
You must:
- Be at least 13 years old, or older where required by the laws of your country — for example, 16 in parts of the European Economic Area.
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
If you are using Plany on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization.
3. Account Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Subscription Plans & Payments
Plany may offer:
- Free and paid subscription plans
- Annual or recurring billing options
By subscribing, you authorize Plany (or its payment providers) to charge applicable fees.
Fees are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
4.1 Pricing Changes
We may update our subscription pricing from time to time. If we do:
- We will notify you at least 30 days in advance via email to your registered address before any price change takes effect.
- Price changes apply at your next renewal cycle — your current billing period is not affected.
- If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel your subscription at any time before your next renewal date through your account settings or by contacting us at support@plany.ae.
- Existing subscribers who subscribed before a price change are not automatically migrated to the new rate mid-cycle.
Continued use of the Service after the new pricing takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated rates.
5. User Content, Images, Visibility & Sharing
5.1 Ownership of User Content
You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or store on Plany, including but not limited to:
- Trips, itineraries, calendars, and notes
- Locations, links, images, and preferences
- Any other user-generated content ("User Content")
Plany does not claim ownership over your User Content.
5.2 Third-Party Images & Attribution
Plany may display images, photos, maps, or visual content sourced from third-party services, including but not limited to Google APIs (such as Google Places and Maps).
Such content:
- Remains the property of its respective owners
- Is used in accordance with applicable third-party licenses and terms
- Is displayed with attribution where required, which is handled automatically by the Service
Plany does not control or guarantee the accuracy, availability, or rights associated with third-party images.
5.3 User-Uploaded Images & Media
If you upload images or media to Plany, you represent and warrant that:
- You own the content or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and consents to use and upload it
- The content does not infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party
- Any individuals appearing in uploaded images have provided legally required consent
You are solely responsible for any images or media you upload.
5.4 Content Visibility & Sharing Controls
Plany allows you to control how your content is shared, which may include:
- Private content (visible only to you)
- Shared content (shared with specific users or collaborators)
- Public content (published and visible to other users or the public)
Plany does not make content public by default unless clearly indicated within the Service.
5.5 Publishing Trips & Public Content
Publishing a trip or itinerary is a user-initiated action.
By publishing content, you acknowledge and agree that:
- The content may be viewed, accessed, shared, or referenced by other users or third parties
- Plany is not responsible for how third parties use publicly shared content
- You confirm that you have the legal right to publish all included content, including images
- Published trips appear on publicly accessible pages that may be indexed by search engines such as Google, and may therefore appear in search results, previews, and third-party caches
- Your account username is displayed alongside published content. Your real name is shown only if you have separately enabled that setting
- Published content may include dates, destinations, accommodation, and other details you have entered. It does not include events you have marked as private, or attachments. Review what a trip contains before publishing it
You may unpublish content at any time. Unpublishing removes it from Plany's public pages, but copies may persist for a period in search engine indexes and caches outside our control, and copies previously saved by other users under section 5.9 remain in their accounts.
5.6 Collaboration & Shared Content Responsibility
Plany allows users to collaborate on trips and shared content.
- Each collaborator is responsible for the content they add, upload, or modify
- The original trip owner controls access permissions and visibility settings
- Plany is not responsible for disputes between collaborators regarding ownership or usage
By contributing to shared or collaborative content, you grant Plany the same limited license described in these Terms.
5.7 License to Operate, Display & Promote Content
By submitting User Content, you grant Plany a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to:
- Host, store, process, analyze, and display your content
- Share your content strictly in accordance with the visibility settings you choose
- Enable collaboration, discovery, and social or community features
For published or public content, this license also includes the right to showcase such content within Plany and related discovery or promotional features.
This license exists solely to operate, improve, and promote the Service and does not transfer ownership of your content.
5.8 Data Use & Privacy Alignment
Any use of User Content involving personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.
Plany may use anonymized or aggregated data derived from User Content to:
- Improve features and performance
- Develop new functionality
- Enhance AI-powered experiences
- Produce and publish aggregated, anonymised insights and statistics about travel patterns (for example, commonly planned destinations or typical trip lengths), provided these never identify an individual user or reveal the contents of any specific trip
We do not sell personal data.
Aggregated insights are derived from trips regardless of whether they are published, but are only released in a form that cannot be traced to any individual user or trip.
5.9 Use of Published Trips by Other Users
When you publish a trip or itinerary, you acknowledge and agree that other users may, as part of the normal functionality of the Service:
- View, save, copy, duplicate, or adapt the published trip for their own personal use within Plany;
- Access and reuse images, locations, schedules, and other content included in the published trip solely within the Plany platform.
By publishing a trip, you grant Plany and other users a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such published content for the purposes described above.
This license:
- Applies only to content you have explicitly made public;
- Does not transfer ownership of your content;
- Does not permit other users to reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit your content outside the Plany platform.
- Does not restrict Plany from displaying published content on Plany's own websites, including pages that are publicly accessible and may be indexed by search engines, as described in section 5.5.
You remain responsible for ensuring that any content you publish may be lawfully shared and reused in this manner.
6. AI Features & Automated Processing
Plany uses AI and automated systems to:
- Suggest destinations, activities, and itineraries
- Summarize content and plans
- Provide recommendations and insights
AI outputs are informational only and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
You remain responsible for verifying travel details, bookings, visas, safety, and compliance.
7. Third-Party Services & Integrations
Plany may integrate with third-party services (e.g. maps, booking platforms, authentication providers).
Plany is not responsible for third-party content, accuracy, or availability.
Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes
- Upload infringing, abusive, or unauthorized content
- Misrepresent ownership or rights to images or media
- Reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
